In this series of drawings, Murysina explores the themes of death and decay. By depicting flowers in their fading state, she captures the fragile moments right before they completely dry out and lose all their petals. It is a moment of tension between vitality and mortality, when existence seems perfectly balanced. From this point arises a fragile hope that time itself might be held still or controlled.
