In October 2020 Katya participated in a festival “Ethics in visual culture”, organized by Bang! Bang! Illustration agency and Bang! Bang! Education.
Within the framework of the festival were discussed themes about visual culture today. How visual culture affects perception of reality, how it affects a concept of the visual norm
During their discussion, Katya with Ilya Mitroshin, Dada Kirey, and Ilya Kutoboy were drawing online their vision of a future man. For Katya, the man of the future is a person without gender or race, a person with opening possibilities, a person who lives in harmony with themselves and nature. Actually, it’s a person who looks at this illustration now.
